With the craze of online shopping increasing at the highest rate, the business wanted to expand its market to online customers. They were selling their products online in various countries but they wanted to reach the higher end of marketing, that’s when Hustle Marketers came into the picture. Challenges:
Earlier, they were running a few campaigns on Google having a ROAS of approximately 4. Upon auditing the account, we saw that there was a lot of room for improvement. Even though the ads had enough traffic, there was a need to put that traffic to good use. We knew we could scale the campaigns and generate double the revenue they were getting.
We had to start with the campaigns from the scratch by doing thorough research on the audience and the keywords that had the potential to get converted. Other than that, the team suggested the client explore other platforms like – Pinterest & Facebook as more businesses are moving their strategies to social media and are getting the results.
Solution:
Google:Â We first started by creating campaigns on Google. Combining our ideas and strategies with their already-running campaign, we wanted to test the audience and their response to both old and new ads.
We started with a search campaign and a brand awareness campaign so that the name of the brand could reach more people. By digging deep into their previous campaigns and website, we searched for the potential keywords that were relevant to their business. We completely restructured the accounts and simplified the keywords to reduce any inefficiency and overlapping.
As it is an eCommerce platform, so the shopping campaign was necessary to launch to sell their products at great potential. Once the new campaigns started to collect the data and got conversions, we moved forward with the Dynamic Remarketing campaign to bring back our previous customers.
With the constant optimization in the campaigns, the audiences started to interact with the ads more and the results started to hit off. By keeping a close eye on the campaigns and eliminating all the non-performing factors, we were able to achieve double the ROAS as compared to before.
Pinterest: Further, we suggested the client run ads on Pinterest. Usually, businesses don’t opt for Pinterest marketing as it is that popular in comparison to Facebook or Twitter, but it sure has a larger user base that worked in our favor of us.
As the main goal was to sell the products but we did not have any data on Pinterest, so maintaining a strong audience interaction was a challenging task. We started with traffic and awareness campaigns that helped us build brand value among audiences. Once we were sure that we could start selling the products, we moved forward with the conversion campaigns which indeed was a huge success. The ROAS and the conversions that we received from Pinterest are above par.
Facebook: Along with Pinterest, we also started marketing on Facebook & Instagram as both platforms have the largest user inventory. The client’s budget for the FB ads was low which made the task challenging. We had to create a strategy that could beat the low-budget factor and get us some purchases. Similar to Pinterest, the client did not have any data or traffic on Facebook, so we started with the brand awareness and traffic campaign. We started to build audiences from the scratch – from searching for the right top-of-the-funnel audience to the perfect audience to retarget.
The team created a funnel of the audience that was followed to achieve the desired results. Initially, we started with the interest-based audience and then moved to the custom audience and then to the lookalike audience so that we could also target a similar audience to the ones landing on the website.
The results that we eventually got were definitely in our favor which we generated just in a month.
Results:
With the constant hard work of the team of Hustle Marketers, the campaigns combined from all the 3 platforms resulted in approximately 6 times the return on the ad spent. All the campaigns were started from scratch, and the graph of the results has simply gone up.
With the constant efforts of the team, the ROAS generated on Google was double the client was getting, that is, 8. The total purchase value was generated more than $160k.
From Pinterest, the ROAS of approximately 100 was achieved for some of the campaigns, and for others, the ROAS generated was between 12 to 25. More than 50 conversions were received in less than 2 months.
