What Is White Label SEO, and How Does It Work?
White label SEO is SEO work done by one company and sold by another under its own brand. Your agency sells the service, sets the price and talks to the client. We do the audits, fixes, content and links in the background, and every report goes out with your logo and your name on it.
In practice it works like this. You win the client and agree the scope with us. We get access to the client’s accounts, do the work and send you a branded report.
You present the report to the client as your agency’s service. The client pays you, and you pay us a monthly fee per client.
Agencies use it to add SEO without hiring an in-house team, or to cover extra work when their own team is full. If you want to resell at volume, with your own packages and pricing, our SEO reseller program covers the program side.
A named strategist on every account, links you can check yourself, and partner terms you can read before you sign.
Do You Offer White Label AI SEO?
Yes. When a client needs it, AI search work goes into the same white label plan, not a separate add-on with its own label. Your clients want to show up when buyers ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini or Google’s AI features, and most of that comes from the same work that helps them rank in Google.
Google says there are no additional requirements and no special optimizations needed to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode. So we do not sell a secret method. We make sure pages can be crawled and indexed, answer real questions clearly and build the brand mentions that AI tools can find.
What we add is measurement. We agree a list of prompts with you, check them on a set schedule and report where your client appears and how that changes, with the method stated so you can explain it. Our AI SEO service page covers the full approach.
Who Does What Between Your Agency and Us?
You own the client and the commercial side. We own the delivery. This is the usual split:
Your agency
- Wins the client, sets the retail price, signs the contract and invoices the client.
- Agrees the goals and scope with us, and approves link targets and major page changes.
- Leads every client call. We join only if you invite us.
Hustle Marketers
- Audits the site, plans the work and makes the technical and on-page changes.
- Writes and updates content, and builds links on domains you have approved.
- Prepares each report in your branding and format, ready for you to send.
Account ownership stays with you or your client. That covers Search Console, Analytics, the Google Business Profile and the website itself.
What Is Included in Our White Label SEO Services?
Each client gets a scope agreed before work starts. Most plans draw from the services below, and anything outside the agreed scope is quoted separately.
White Label SEO Audits
A crawl and manual review of indexing, site structure, speed, content and links. You get a ranked list of fixes a developer can act on, branded as your agency’s audit.
White Label Keyword Research
Keywords grouped by search intent and mapped to pages, with a clear call on which pages to build, improve or merge. Your client gets a plan, not a raw export.
White Label Technical SEO
Fixes for crawl errors, redirects, canonicals, sitemaps, structured data and Core Web Vitals. We make changes where access allows, or write tickets for the client’s developer. See our technical SEO service.
White Label Link Building
Editorial placements, digital PR, resource and broken link work. You approve every target domain first and get the live URL of every link. No private blog networks, bulk sidebar links or directory blasts.
White Label Enterprise SEO
For large sites: crawl budget, faceted navigation, index control and page templates that scale. The work is planned around the client’s developers and release schedule.
White Label AI SEO Services
Content and entity work that helps a client’s brand appear in AI answers, plus tracking of an agreed prompt list across AI search tools, reported with the method stated.
White Label On-Page SEO
Titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links and page copy, updated page by page against the keyword map, with the changes listed in your report.
White Label Content Optimization
Updates to existing pages and new pages briefed from what ranks today. We use AI for research and first drafts, but a person writes, edits and signs off every piece and checks every claim against its source.
White Label Local SEO
Google Business Profile updates, local landing pages, citations and review requests for clients who serve set areas. See our local SEO services.
What Is Not Included in White Label SEO?
Most providers list what they do. What sits outside the scope matters just as much, because that is where disputes start. Unless we agree it in writing, our white label SEO plans do not include:
- Website builds, redesigns or migrations. We write the SEO requirements for that work, but the build sits with a developer.
- Google Ads, Microsoft Ads or Meta Ads management. We offer that separately as white label Google Ads management.
- Social media posting, email campaigns and ad copy.
If a client needs one of these, we can scope it separately or tell you who is better placed to do it.
Two things we do not offer at any price:
- Paid links, private blog networks or any other link scheme. Google’s spam policies treat buying links for ranking purposes as link spam.
- Guaranteed rankings or traffic numbers. Google says no one can guarantee a number one ranking, and we will not promise one.
How Much Does White Label SEO Cost?
Our white label SEO entry tier starts at $500 a month per client. The final price depends on the size of the site, how competitive the market is and how much content and link work the client needs, so we quote each client after a short scoping review.
Here is a simple margin example with round numbers. Your own costs will differ:
- You pay us $500 a month for the client.
- The client pays you $1,000 a month.
- Calls, reviews and reporting take your team 3 hours a month, at an internal cost of $50 an hour. That is $150.
- That leaves $350 a month after your team’s time, or 35 percent of what the client pays, before overheads and the cost of winning the client.
Markup is not margin, so count your own account time before you set a retail price. Our white label SEO pricing guide shows what partners in this market charge and how agencies price on top.
Which AI Search Tools Do We Track for Your Clients?
We track the AI tools your client’s buyers use, from a prompt list agreed with you. Each report shows where the brand is mentioned or cited, which pages are used as sources, and how that changes over time.
ChatGPT
We check whether ChatGPT mentions your client for each agreed prompt, and which pages it cites when it searches the web.

Google Gemini
We record whether Gemini names your client for the prompts on the list, and which sources it shows.

Perplexity
Perplexity lists its sources with each answer, so we report which client pages are cited and which competitors appear instead.

Claude
We run the agreed prompts in Claude and note whether your client is mentioned and how it is described.

Microsoft Copilot
When Copilot looks things up on the web, it uses Bing search, so we pair prompt checks with Bing Webmaster Tools data for the client's site.

Grok
We add Grok when the client's audience is active on X, and track it against the same prompt list.

Google AI Mode
Google reports AI Mode traffic inside Search Console's Web search type, so we pair that data with prompt checks.

Google AI Overviews
We track which agreed queries show an AI Overview and whether the client's pages are linked in it.

DeepSeek
For clients whose buyers use DeepSeek, we add it to the prompt checks on the same schedule.

How Does Our White Label SEO Process Work?
Every client follows the same six steps, so you always know what happens next and what you can tell your client.
Scope and Access
You share the client, the goal and the budget. We confirm the scope, the exclusions and the access we need.

Baseline and Audit
We record current rankings, traffic and AI visibility, then audit the site so progress can be measured.
Plan
You get a ranked plan for the coming months: what we will do, in what order and why.

Do the Work
We make technical and on-page changes, publish content and build links against the agreed plan.

Report Under Your Brand
You receive each report in your branding and format, on the schedule you have promised your client.
Review and Adjust
We review results with you, keep what works and change what does not, using the same measurement each time.

How Do You Access Client Accounts, and What Do I Keep If We Stop?
We work at the lowest access level that does the job, and you or your client stay owner of every account. If we stop working together, you keep what you paid for, and no Google account or website login has to be handed back, because you or your client owned them from the start.
The access we usually ask for:
- Google Search Console: Full user. Only a property owner can add users, so you or your client sends the invite.
- Google Analytics 4: Viewer or Analyst. You can add the No Cost Metrics and No Revenue Metrics restrictions if the client prefers we do not see those figures.
- Google Business Profile: Manager. Managers can edit the profile but cannot add or remove users or delete it. Google makes new owners and managers wait 7 days before they can manage some features, so we ask for access early.
- Website CMS: a user account with editor or SEO access.
What you keep if we stop:
- The content and briefs, including drafts not yet published.
- The keyword map and the audit.
- The link list, with live URLs.
- Your reporting history.
Notice and handover terms are written into the partner agreement before your first order, so the exit is agreed at the start.

Work Delivered Under Your Brand
Reports, audits and documents go out with your logo and your agency's name, never ours.

We Never Contact Your Clients
We do not email, call or pitch your clients, and we only join a client call when you invite us. Our partner agreement covers non-solicitation and non-disclosure of the partnership.

Every Link Is Checkable
You approve target domains before outreach and get the live URL of every link, so you can check each one yourself.

AI Search and Classic SEO in One Plan
When a client needs AI visibility work, it goes into the same plan and report as Google rankings, not a separate package with a new label.

A Named Lead for Each Account
Each account has a named strategist who is accountable for the work, not a rotating queue. You always know who to call.

One Client Is Enough to Start
Start with a single client pilot: one account and one month of real work, judged before you move anything else.
Which Agencies Use White Label SEO?
White label SEO suits agencies whose clients ask for SEO, but who do not want to hire an SEO team to deliver it. Common examples:
Digital Marketing Agencies
Add SEO next to social, email or ads, so clients do not take their search budget elsewhere.
Web Design Agencies
Offer SEO after launch, starting with a technical check of the new site, so the relationship continues past handover.
PPC & Performance Marketing Agencies
Add organic search next to paid campaigns, and share keyword and landing page data between the two.
Branding & Creative Agencies
Make sure new brand sites and content can be found in search, without hiring SEO staff.
SaaS Marketing Agencies
Content, technical SEO and comparison pages for software clients with longer sales cycles.
Local Marketing Agencies
Business Profile, local pages, citations and reviews for clients that serve set areas.
Ecommerce Agencies
Category and product page SEO for stores on Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce and BigCommerce.
Business Consultants & Growth Advisors
Offer SEO as part of a growth plan, with the delivery handled by us under your name.
Freelance Marketers
Take on bigger SEO projects than one person can deliver alone, without turning work away.

White Label SEO FAQs
What is white label SEO?
White label SEO is SEO work that one company delivers and another company sells under its own brand. The agency owns the client relationship and sets the price. The provider does the work in the background and reports through the agency, so the client deals only with the agency.
What does white label SEO cost per client?
Our entry tier starts at $500 a month per client. The final price depends on the site, the market and the scope, so we quote each client after a short scoping review. Our white label SEO pricing guide covers what partners in this market charge and the margin left after your own time.
Will my clients know I use a white label SEO provider?
Not from us. Reports and documents go out under your brand, we never contact your clients, and our partner agreement includes non-disclosure of the partnership. Check your own client contracts first, though. Some enterprise, government and regulated clients require you to disclose subcontractors.
What should I say if a client asks who does the work?
Give an answer that holds up. Many agencies say they set the strategy and own the account, and work with a specialist delivery team for production. Not naming your supplier is different from claiming an in-house team you do not have. If a client or contract needs a disclosed arrangement, we are happy to work that way.
Can I check the links you build?
Yes. You approve every target domain before outreach, and we share the live URL of every link we build, so you can open each one yourself. We do not build private blog network links, bulk sidebar or blogroll placements, or automated directory links.
What access do you need, and who stays owner?
We usually ask for Full user access in Search Console, a Viewer or Analyst role in Google Analytics 4, Manager access on the Google Business Profile, and an editor or SEO user in the CMS. You or your client stay owner of every account.
What happens if we stop working together?
You keep what you paid for: the content and briefs, the keyword map, the audit, the link list with live URLs and your reporting history. The accounts already belong to you or your client, so nothing needs to be handed back. Notice and handover terms are in the partner agreement before your first order.
Is white label AI SEO a separate service?
No. When a client needs it, it goes into the same plan and report rather than a separate product. Google says there are no additional requirements to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode, so the work rests on solid SEO and clear content. We add measurement: an agreed prompt list, checked on a set schedule and reported with the method stated.
Can I start with one client?
Yes, and we prefer it. You pick the account, we scope it and tell you whether the budget supports the target, then we deliver a month of real work. You judge us on that before you move anything else.
How long does white label SEO take to show results?
There is no fixed timeline. Google’s SEO Starter Guide says some changes might take effect in a few hours and others could take several months. Technical fixes can show sooner, while content and links usually take longer. We agree how progress is measured at the start, so you can report it honestly.
What is the difference between white label SEO and an SEO reseller?
They describe the same arrangement: you sell SEO under your brand and a provider delivers it. People tend to say white label SEO when they buy delivery for one client or a few, and SEO reseller when they want a standing program across many clients. Our SEO reseller page covers the program side.
Is white label SEO safe for my clients' sites?
It is as safe as the provider’s methods. Google’s spam policies name link spam, including buying links for ranking purposes, and scaled content abuse, such as using AI to produce many pages without adding value. Ask any provider what they refuse to do, and see every link and page before you approve it.
Where is the work done, and do you work with agencies outside the US?
Our delivery team is in India, and we work with agencies in the US, the UK, Australia and India. We do not describe the team as US based or onshore. Australian agencies have extra GST, privacy and time zone questions, which our white label SEO Australia page answers.
How do I choose a white label SEO provider?
Start with the questions Google suggests asking any SEO: ask for examples of past work, whether they follow Google Search Essentials, how they measure success and whether they will share every change they make. Then ask about access, exclusions, link policy and exit terms. Our list of white label SEO companies compares providers, including ones we compete with.
